Abstract:
ME as a big full service provider should have it‘s own PFP collection on Solana.

Motivation:
The entire ME community should be clearly visible across all social media platforms (for example, X and Discord).
And this is where Emmy comes in. Emmy has been, and still is, the face of many campaigns for ME, and that’s why an NFT collection of Emmy should be created. This will unite the entire community even more.

Free mint of 10k for active ME stakers
The NFT‘s will be stakeable and are also full degen lockable

Specification:
This should be a free mint of 10k Emmys which will be minted by the active staking ME community. The artist for art needs to be defined. Maybe an inhouse ME artist. TBD

Benefits/Risks:
100% of the royalties will go directly to ME to buyback $ME and / or ensure future seasonal airdrops.
The NFT’s can be locked for an additional seasonal multiplier.

Outcomes:
Great PFP art, hyped community, good trading volume, high floor price and at the end less listed NFT‘s as they are all locked away for a staking multiplier.

Low costs, only for the art and building / integrating the staking tool for the app / website. More TBD

I think that a collection would be very cool. For people that really get into the community side of Magic Eden this is great (I personally would rock the pfp).

I don’t agree with “free”. Not only do I like to buy quality things, I think the funds could be used wisely to benefit the community outside of the NFT.
Could be used to pay a quality artist.
Could burn half the mint funds benefiting the ME community immediately.
Use some to put towards a loyalty program for those that hold the NFT.
- I that if the collection size was a bit smaller it would be more quality in terms of art, holders, ect..
well, if free is not acceptable, we can always make it cheap ! Like 0.1 SOL or something ? It would ensure most stakers mint it.
Anyway, I support the idea too.

Absolutely could do it for the .1 SOL price range! I would love to see it even higher, as well as smaller collection size. Just a personal preference.

I've always found the idea of an official MagicEden collection very interesting. If we look at some promising projects like Hyperliquid and Backpack, they all have an NFT collection.
Speaking of MagicEden, it's undoubtedly an interesting idea regardless of the blockchain. It might make sense to launch on Solana, but I see a lot of opportunity in Ordinals or even Ethereum

Ive actually had a similar ideal so i already sketched up examples of how the pfp collection would look if i was able to make it, rather we implement a buy back, burn etc what ever the community feels is best, but we all need something to unify under as our pfps repping $ME, i think this would make a fire collection for pfps, the members ive talked to in the community so far and discussed this with are loving the idea , would to seriously make this happen.
If I’m able to do this, would love suggestions etc want to make this with everyone while we grow even bigger 
there would be something for everyone to identify with in the collection while repping $ME to the fullest.
