We propose a 4-month trial where Emostically, a Solana-focused media blog, offers a read-to-earn platform to educate users about Magic Eden. Users earn rewards for reading clear, engaging guides on Magic Eden features, NFT trading strategies, and Solana ecosystem updates. The trial aims to convert readers into active Magic Eden users while building a content-driven community that benefits both platforms.

Motivation

Magic Eden is the top NFT marketplace on Solana, but onboarding new users can be intimidating due to scattered educational resources. Emostically already has an engaged audience and experience creating fun, easy-to-understand Solana content. This trial addresses the gap by providing structured, reward-based learning that encourages users to explore Magic Eden confidently.

Trial Plan

Content: Weekly educational posts covering NFT basics, Magic Eden navigation, trading strategies, and community engagement.

Rewards: Users earn incentives for completing articles, creating accounts, making first trades, and engaging in discussions.

Tracking: Referral links and dashboards to monitor reading, engagement, and conversions.

Community: Encourage sharing, commenting, and feedback to improve content.

Implementation Timeline

Month 1: Launch MVP with foundational guides and basic rewards (target: 100–200 daily readers)

Month 2: Add advanced guides, implement referral tracking, start engagement tests (target: 200–400 daily readers, 10% conversion)

Month 3: Partner with Magic Eden for co-created content and community campaigns (target: 400–600 daily readers, 15% conversion)

Month 4: Scale learning paths, collect feedback, prepare full proposal (target: 600+ daily readers, 20% conversion)

Hey, I think the approach brings real community value – especially for onboarding new people. But for the $ME token I only see an indirect effect right now. Paying out the budget and rewards in $ME is nice, but without real utility connection it’s missing the punch.

Why not reward the real readers and auto-stake those rewards? Long-term I believe some will get curious, start trading, and build up staking power. Only the strong survive.

For real impact on $ME we’d need mechanics that actually create demand or reduce supply:

• Link rewards to $ME staking (e.g. with a 4-year lock)

• Set a fixed Buy & Burn share on a public address

• Release funds milestone-based with clear CPA targets and clawbacks

• Commit part of future Emostically revenues to $ME → burn or distribute to stakers

That way the whole thing would have a direct impact on the token, not just on reach.

For this trial we’re focused on validating adoption + education impact, but we agree stronger $ME mechanics like auto-staking rewards, milestone-based disbursements, or future revenue → burn/staker distribution can make it more impactful. We’re excited to share an update on our Read-to-Earn trial.

After completing the trial phase, we are now formally concluding the experiment and moving into the next stage: preparing a full proposal for long-term integration within the Magic Eden ecosystem.

The results have given us valuable insights and strong early signals that this model is worth building further.

What Comes Next

The next phase will focus on scaling this model into a comprehensive NFT certificate-based educational platform for the Magic Eden ecosystem. We will enhance reporting, broaden educational content, and strengthen reward alignment through on-chain soulbound NFT certificates that verify learning achievements.

All insights gathered during our trial will guide future collaborations, platform enhancements, and long-term strategies to grow blockchain education across Africa starting with Nigeria’s thriving crypto community.
