Magic Lab: Empowering Creators, Growing the Magic Eden Community

Magic Lab: Empowering Creators, Growing the Magic Eden Community

Abstract

Magic Lab is a community-led initiative spearheaded by Ben — one of the most consistent and trusted voices in the Magic Eden ecosystem since day one. With a proven record of results — 29+ Spaces hosted, 1,300+ submissions managed, and over $13,000 in rewards distributed (through both official Magic Eden initiatives and personal giveaways) — Magic Lab now scales this success into a dedicated working group. The initiative will consistently launch bounties and content competitions, spotlight creators, expand media and Spaces programming, and roll out magiclabs.meas a central hub for community submissions and engagement. By rewarding great content, Magic Lab sparks inspiration and ensures better contributions continue to flow into the ecosystem — strengthening $ME and the Magic Eden community long term.

Motivation

Magic Eden thrives when its community is active, visible, and united. Yet many creators, educators, and hosts lack the resources to sustain their impact. Magic Lab exists to solve that — channeling $ME toward the individuals and teams who power culture, amplify Magic Eden’s ecosystem, and attract new participants.

Most importantly, Magic Lab sparks inspiration. By rewarding high-quality content, it motivates creators to push boundaries and raise the standard for what’s possible within the ecosystem. This constant inspiration drives better contributions, strengthens Magic Eden’s identity, and ensures the community continues to grow in both creativity and impact.

To date, Magic Lab team has already put $13,000+ back into the hands of community creators — proving that rewarding good content directly inspires more of it.

The Magic Lab team also brings a proven track record of IRL leadership. Beyond online efforts, Dennis and Daniel have consistently hosted in-person events and activations — from Dennis leading four IRL educational meetups to Daniel regularly organizing and supporting crypto community gatherings. These initiatives expand $ME awareness and participation in real-world spaces, building bridges between the online ecosystem and local communities, including youth-focused events that spread awareness of Magic Eden while uplifting real communities.

Great proposal, I’m glad it passed the vote.

Ready to see what comes next!

I’ve listened to tons of Spaces from Ben, BlackViking, and MilkNoSugar – consistent high-quality output, full of passion, straight from the community. No empty talk.

Ben in particular gave me the push I needed to keep going – to stay active, to keep creating.

And they’ve done all of this without funding.

Now it’s time for structure, scale, and transparency.

In my opinion: this is where things really start to take off.

That’s exactly why this proposal makes sense to me:

  • 60,000 $ME directly back to creators – real, measurable impact

  • magiclabs,me as a platform – long overdue

  • Spaces, IRL events, media expansion – real levers to boost $ME visibility

Bottom line: No hype, no fluff – just a solid, well-structured system to strengthen $ME and the community around it.

:white_check_mark: Yes vote from me – because this has substance.
